Introduction

Smoking is a tough habit to quit. The Forgo app was designed to give people a friendly helper in their pocket, guiding them on the road to a smoke-free life.

Research

As we all know, smoking has been proven to have negative effects on our health. Therefore, it is crucial to have effective tools to help individuals quit smoking.

Through our research, we observed that people who are determined to quit smoking often feel helpless because they lack a support system to track their progress. Without any motivation or guidance, they may lose track of their progress and eventually give up.

To address this issue, we conducted extensive research on this topic, including publications, websites, and forums, and discovered the following alarming statistics:

16.5%
from total world population does smoking
8 million
people die every years because of smoking
It’s 2nd
in the list of leading risks of early deaths
